18 April - morning
We woke up at 8am and realised that Jeriel was having fever... temperature was 39.5 deg cel. Immediately we gave him brufen.. and rushed to KKH. Both of us were contemplating if we should bring him to perth. But we knew that we couldn't bear to leave him here; we won't be able to enjoy ourselves in Perth without him.
Luckily his fever subsided when we reached KKH.. temperature was 37.4. The doc checked on him and found that his lungs were slightly congested & there was wheezing. Doc instructed neubalisation for him. We had a hard time as he struggled and pulled out the tube several times. He cried so miserably but we had no choice..
After the 10mins of neubaliser, he was smiling again! We returned an hour to see the doc again for the assessment. The doc said his lungs were clear and temperature was alright. We asked the doc if we could bring Jeriel to Perth. The doc advised that it should be alright but prescribed a few medications to give Jeriel during the trip. *Phew... we felt relieved after hearing the advice from doc!
We rushed home.. did a final check on our luggages.. and headed straight to the airport...
