Jeriel kept asking when we are bringing him for "Ice Age 3: movie. We were quite skeptical as we were afraid that he can't stay still through the movie.So mummy purposely took half a day off to bring him for the movie. It was a Tuesday at 6pm so the cinema was pretty empty - less than 20 persons in the whole cinema.
He seemed rather excited but started to get a little fidgety after the 20mins of commercial. We should have entered the cinema much later. Finally when the show started, he was so excited and asked lots of questions such as when the dinosaurs are coming out, are they out yet etc. We had to remind him to lower his volume. He started moving from seat to seat after about 30mins into the movie. We had to resort to using food to keep him to his seat - biscuits, popcorns and gummy bears.
Nearing the end of the movie, he began to lose his concentration and was asking if we could go home. *Phew, luckily the movie was ending soon, otherwise we really don't know how else to coax him.
After the movie, on the way home...
Daddy: Jeriel, do you like the movie?
Jeriel: I like. But I don't like the cinema.
Daddy: Why?
Jeriel: Because I cannot talk and cannot move in the cinema.
:) It was an experience not only for Jeriel, but for us too! At least we made it to the end of the movie! Another time... hmmm, think wait till he's older.. haha.
