Visit to Central Fire Station

It was fascinating to be so close to the fire engines, heavy fire hoses and ambulances. Though it was a little crowded this morning, we got a chance to see and touch some of the interesting stuff such as holding and spraying with the water hoses, wearing the helmet, carrying the 12kg oxygen tank and sliding down from the fireman pole! *heeheee... it was quite an experience.

For those who are interested, you may visit the Central Fire Station at Hill Street on Sat from 9 to 11am - they have open house where you can exprience being a fireman for 2 hours. :)
